Many companies know that they generate a tremendous amount of data that could be valuable, but knowing how to take advantage of it is a huge challenge. From these challenges for businesses, The Twenty was born.
Our mission is to fill the gap of knowledge for companies who want a trusted thought partner to advise them on how applied data science can drive growth and profit.
The Twenty was named for the Pareto principle, the law of the vital few. For many outcomes, 80 percent of the effects come from 20 percent of the causes. If you need that 20 percent for your business, get in touch with The Twenty.
The Twenty’s data scientists and software developers have an average of 10 years of experience and hold advanced degrees in statistics, computer science, and other technical fields.
Our business analysts have experience solving complex problems for
investment managers, Fortune 500, and growth company clients. They have been
hand-selected from Big Three management consulting companies and top MBA programs.
Brennan Jubb is The Twenty's principal technologist. He joined the firm in 2017. Brennan oversees all software development and data analytics efforts for The Twenty. Previously, he was a principal at Social Code in Washington DC. He holds a BS in computer science from Loyola University Maryland.
Renny McPherson founded The Twenty in 2014 with Les Craig. An experienced founder and leader, Renny is an active seed stage investor and is the author of Entrepreneurs in the Midst: Stories from Founders, Creators, and Builders. Earlier in his career, he served as a Marine Corps officer. Renny holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and a BA from Harvard.
In our work, the client's needs always come first. We are dedicated to driving meaningful results that show up directly in the bottom line. It is the reason we are here.
Innovation and Execution
We live by the saying “innovation is rewarded, execution is worshiped.” We’re not looking for complexity, our goal is to provide elegantly simple and eminently applicable solutions to our clients.
Above all, we value an honest and open relationship with our clients. It is essential that we come to understand our clients' businesses as if they were our own. Without the trust that comes from acting with the utmost integrity, this would be impossible.
Curiosity killed the cat, but it also invented the lightbulb. That same generative force is the main driver behind our work. It makes us go above and beyond the scope of a problem to maximize what you can learn from your data.
